Dropbox not enough space download file

My son's HP computer doesn't have enough space to update Windows 10. We also don't have an 8 Gigabyte external drive that can be erased in order to update Windows 10. Is it possible to use cloud storage (like Dropbox) to do the update instead of usb? Thanks.
